In every conceivable way the capacity to live a long and healthy life depends on the degree of coherence in cell to cell communication. Five examples of the need for coherent cellular communication are:
1) The CD4 cell as the commander in chief of immune system cells needs to monitor the body for both self and non-self, and to take action against non-self accurately. Without a coherent communication between the CD4 and CD8, many different kinds of non self can overwhelm the body, which in turn can cause many different health issues. Other types of health issues can manifest based on incorrectly identifying self as non-self, which means that the body can end up attacking itself because of inaccurate messages being created and acted upon by the cells.
2) In the brain, nerve cells are in constant communication with each other and as a whole with every cell in the body. When cell to cell communication breaks down in the brain, there is broad range of negative effects physically, mentally and emotionally.
